Leaders Fellowships in South Korea

The Leaders Fellowship in South Korea through the School Of Public Policy And Management announces that they are delighted to award interested students who want to undertake the fellowship program at the school.

Successful intakes are furnished with a full tuition waiver, monthly stipend, and airfare to study at the KDI School of Public Policy and Management. Applications are currently open for all international students. 

To be eligible for this award, candidates must fulfill the following criteria:

• The scholarship is open for any subject offered by the university.
• Applicants must be currently employed at the division head level (or) over six years of working experience in the public sector.
• Applicants from G20 Countries must have at least one year of working experience in the public sector or a study/research experience in fields related to studies in Korea. 
• Applicants must have a bachelor’s degree from an accredited university. 
• Students must be proficient in written and spoken English language.

If you fulfill these criteria, you must complete the admission application on the school’s online application portal. The required documents include An online application for the Seoul G20 Global Leaders Fellowship. And an employment verification letter demonstrating your eligibility.

KAIST Techno MBA Scholarships for International Students in South Korea

The Techno MBA scholarship offered by The Korea Advanced Institute of Science and Technology (KAIST) is open to international applicants interested in the university’s full-time MBA program.

This scholarship covers your full tuition and is open to students from all nationalities. The KAIST scholarship will provide full tuition for two years plus an allowance for living stipends to the tune of 500,000 KRW per month to students successfully selected for the scholarship.

Chonnam National University, through its International Academic Excellence Scholarship, offers bright international students financial help to pursue their higher education in any course of study offered at the Chonham National University. The scholarship award offers a partial reduction in entrance and tuition fees for qualified students, at least up to 10% to 30% of the actual amount. This scholarship covers up to eight semesters of your study.

Applicants must meet the following criteria:

Must be an undergraduate or graduate student accepted under international admissions.

Applicants must visit the university’s designated application portal to complete their application.

The following documents are required from the students:

• Official graduate certificate
• Completed application forms
• Two confidential letters of recommendation
• Official academic transcripts from every university attended
• An original or notarized copy of the degree certificate

The applicants must have a bachelor’s degree or equivalent as stipulated by the regulations.

Another South Korean scholarship available for international students is the Humanities and Social Sciences International Scholarships at Korea University. This scholarship is open to any international student who wants to pursue the graduate program at the university.

The scholarship will offer the selected students a 60% tuition fee waiver toward their study program of choice.

To be eligible for this scholarship applicants must have a cumulative GPA of 3.5 or higher in their previous degree certificate in an accredited institution.

Students must have these documents:

• Recommendation letter.
• Academic transcripts.
• Certificate of Bachelor’s degree.
• Academic CV.
• International passport.
• Proof of identity.

Also, the applicants must submit scores of the following:

• TOEFL (iBT) 82 or higher.
•  New TEPS 337 or higher.

International Special Scholarships at Seowon University, South Korea

 Seowon University South Korea established special scholarships for international students who want to study in South Korea. International students who want to do an undergraduate program at Seowon University, either as a freshman or transfer from another university, are eligible to apply for this scholarship. The scholarship will cover your tuition fee. 

Applications are currently open for international students interested in the undergraduate program to do any course of choice offered at Seowon University.

Applicants must have the TOPIK level 3 to 6 certificate to be eligible for this program. 

Applicants are also required to present the following documents to the university:

• A copy of high school document
• A copy of passport

The enrollment occurs around March every year. Interested students can apply online and submit these documents.

Global Emerging Scholarships II at Sogang University, South Korea

 Sogang University is also accepting applications for its Global Emerging Scholarships II. This scholarship program aims to help students from all around the world who want to pursue an undergraduate degree program at Sogang University. 

Applications are accepted from around the world to students interested in studying any course offered by Sogang University. Interested applicants should enroll in the undergraduate degree program at the university with the required documents and then wait for feedback. 

The scholarship awards successful students with the admission fees and half of the student’s tuition fee to study for eight semesters.

Applicants are to submit their academic transcripts, and a copy of their passport is required as a document to be submitted alongside the applications.
