Requirements for KDSG Scholarship
For you to become eligible to apply for any of the kaduna state government scholarship categories, then you must meet the following criterias
A.) Local Scholarship requirements
- Citizenship: You must be a citizen and indigene of kaduna state.
- Program: You must be an undergraduate or postgraduate currently studying in a recognized tertiary institution as of the time of application
- CGPA: Before desiring to apply for the scholarship, you must have a minimum CGPA of 2.0 of 5.0 or 1.6 of 4.0
- Semester period: You must be a student who has at least one semester at the time of disbursement. Students in the second semester of their final year are considered not eligible.
- Not available to spill over students: This scholarship is only accessible to students who have not exceeded their study year in school due to one reason or the other

- Income tax certificate: You must present a personal income tax of your parents or a death certificate if they are not alive.

- Not available to spill over to a student: If you are a student who has exceeded his/her intended study period in school, you are not eligible to apply.
- Medical clearance: You must undergo a drug test and provide a medical clearance certificate from an approved government hospital
- Letter of Release by Employer: If you are a working class individual who wants to go for your postgraduate studies, you must provide a letter of release from your employer.
- Certificate Grade for Undergraduate studies: All undergraduate applicants should possess a minimum of grade A in at least five subjects including English and Mathematics and grade B in other subjects.
- Certificate Grade for Postgraduate studies: You must have a first class honor in your bachelor degree program if you want to enroll for the master program while the PhD enrollment requires you to have a distinction in your master program.
