Eligibility Requirements for the 2024 Qatar University Scholarship:
You must meet the following requirements to be eligible for the Qatar University Scholarship program.
- You must show a high level of Academic Excellence.
- Posses a high school certificate
- Admission to Qatar University
- Compliance with the Scholarship regulations and terms
- Must not be a current benefactor of this scholarship or other Scholarship opportunity at the same time
- The Scholarship program starts from the semester in which it is being awarded. You are to pass your first-semester exam to start benefiting from the offer.
- Show a level of financial need and assistance.
How to Apply for 2024 Qatar University Scholarship:
This is a guideline on how you can apply for the scholarship.
- Meet the Required Criteria: Ensure you meet all the requirements before seeking to apply for the Scholarship program.
- Visit the Scholarship Website: visit the Qatar University website, create an account using your email address, and complete the online application form correctly.
- Choose your Scholarship Type: Qatar University offers different scholarship programs based on criteria, benefits, and identity. Choose your preferred one.
- Gather and upload Documents: you are to gather and upload the necessary documents in a suitable PDF format. The documents include a passport-sized photograph, Valid ID/ International Passport, High school transcripts, and Health certificate.
- Pay processing fee: depending on the scholarship program, you will be prompted to pay a non-refundable fee of QR 200 before submission.
- Prepare for the interview: after successfully submitting your application form, you will be contacted for an interview; therefore, ensure you prepare thoroughly by studying the scholarship’s past questions.
- Wait for selection: After the application deadline, wait patiently regarding your application status. The final admission and scholarship results will be emailed to you after the screening session.
When you have received the admission decision at the university, the university will apply for a visa, and you will be notified immediately.

The Qatar University Scholarship cuts across different disciplines, from science and engineering to humanities and social sciences.
To continue benefiting from this scholarship after being offered, you must be enrolled in Qatar University with a minimum GPA of 3.50 out of 4.00 and at least 30 credit hours in QU.
You can also solidify your scholarship opportunity by applying for the Cross-Registration Program. It is a program that allows you to enroll at Qatar University and Common Community College of Qatar.
Qatar University scholarship grants you access to study in their different colleges. These colleges offer courses in various disciplines such as Art and Science, Education, Dental Medicine, Engineering, Law, Business and Economics, and Health Science.
While submitting your online application form to the Qatar University Scholarship Portal, ensure you have a well-written letter of recommendation and personal statement of purpose.
The Original Copies of the uploaded documents will also be submitted in person for verification to the Admission Department within a stipulated time and location. It can also be sent to them via email for those students who are yet to be in the country.
