Present goals at Specific University Program

What do you plan to study when you get the scholarship? Doctor? Explain what your goals are as a Commonwealth scholar. Make it thorough enough to make them believe you are certain about what you want.

Future goals

Most scholarship bodies like students who have a long-term goal. Your present goal might be to become an Art studio and your long-term goal would be to have your studio or at least the CEO of the studio. Your goal should show how it impacts development issues in the global and national sphere.

Conclude Strongly

Your conclusion should be your reasons as to why you want to the scholarship at a glance. Conclude with a strong statement that emphasizes your dedication to using the scholarship opportunity to make a positive impact on society.

Proofread and Edit

And of course, the last step is to proofread your work. You don’t want to write a good statement of purpose and then get rejected for little typographical errors. Make sure your work is clean and presentable.

To win a Commonwealth scholarship, you have you first be eligible for the scholarship and then apply for the scholarship. 

You need to have an undergraduate honors degree of at least upper second class (2:1) and you must be genuinely unable to afford to study in the UK without the Scholarship.

Now, it’s a general question, but it has an aim; it’s meant to warm up the interviewee and it’s also a perfect question to throw those unprepared off-guard. Hence, you have to be prepared.

Here’s an example of how this question is countered

I’m a sophomore at Carlsbad High School, and I’ve always been fascinated by technology and how it affects our lives. With the support of my parents and teachers, I’ve been diving into extra classes to learn programming languages like C++, how to make Android apps and even graphic design.
