  • Leiden University Excellence Scholarship (LExS)

Leiden University Excellence Scholarship is awarded to excellent students joining a full-time Master’s Degree program at Leiden University, Netherlands, with the exception of LLM (non-advanced) and Mac Programs at Leiden Law School.

There are three levels of the LExS award, which is awarded for the duration of the study program. One is €10,000 for the tuition fee, another is €15,000 for the tuition fee, and the last is the total tuition fee minus the statutory tuition fee.

To be eligible, you must have a non-EEA/non-EFTA passport (citizens of EEA and EFTA countries are not eligible for this scholarship). Nigerians and many african students are eligible. You must have also had an outstanding academic performance in your previous study program(s).

  • The Malaysian Technical Cooperation Program (MTCP) Scholarship 

If you would love to study and live in Malaysia, then the MTCP Scholarship is here for you. The Malaysian government sponsors the MTCP Scholarship to support international students from developing countries (including Nigeria) who would love to pursue their Master’s degree program at a university in Malaysia.

The duration of the award is 24 to 36 months. The Application is ongoing and will end on 30 June 2023.

  • Japan Government (MEXT) Scholarship

The Japan Government MEXT scholarship is in two forms; Embassy Recommendation and University Recommendation. For the Embassy Recommendation, applying students will visit the Japanese embassy or consulate in their home country, where they will undergo an initial screening (documentary examination, written test, and interview) before being recommended by the Embassy to the Japanese Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology (MEXT) through the Ministry of Foreign Affairs. 

University Recommendation has to do with inter-university student exchange agreements. Where a student will be recommended to the Japan Ministry of Education, Culture, Sports, Science and Technology (MEXT) by a university in Japan. Recommended research students will have to arrive in Japan by September-October.

Application for this scholarship is free. Any organization or individuals that would charge you have no relationship with the Japanese government. 

  • Griffith Remarkable Scholarship 

Griffith University, Australia, awards scholarships to outstanding academic performing students who will pursue a Master’s degree program at the university. 

The scholarship value is no less than 50% of a student’s tuition fee and is valid for the whole period of your program. 

You must be an international student without Australian/New Zealand citizenship to be eligible. You must also apply to study at Griffith University before applying for the scholarship Trimester 3 by 4 August. 

  • The University of Manchester GREAT Scholarship for Nigerian Students

The University of Manchester, UK, in partnership with the British Council and the GREAT Britain Campaign, offers Nigerian students the opportunity to pursue a postgraduate Masters degree at the University of Manchester 2023.

To be considered, you must hold either a conditional or unconditional offer of admission to study at the University of Manchester.

  • Queen Mary University of London Business and Management Postgraduate Scholarships

Queen Mary University of London, UK, offers a Business and Management Postgraduate Scholarship to international students (including Nigerian students) who want to pursue their MSc and MA degree programs in the university’s School of Business and Management.

The scholarship is valued at £5,000, which will be deducted from your tuition fees. You must have achieved a UK first class Honours or the equivalent in your Bachelor’s degree program to be eligible. You must have been offered admission into the school to study any full-time Business/financial management-oriented courses.
