  1. State of Origin: You must be an indigene of Jigawa state.
  2. O’Level Grade: Before applying, your WAEC/GCE result must be a good grade. You must have at least five distinctions (As and Bs) in your subjects, including mathematics, English, and all other subjects related to your course of study.
  3. CGPA: Possess a minimum CGPA of 3.00 on a five-point scale or 5.00 on a seven-point scale

What Is the History of Jigawa State Scholarship Board?

Jigawa State Scholarship board was formed to help indigenous students from Jigawa State secure admission to any tertiary institution within and outside Nigeria, formulate policies, and award scholarships to deserving students of the state.

The board was created by the Edict of September 1995 by the military government in the state. It was later reviewed and became operational on 12th February 1998.
