Korea International Cooperation Agency (Koica) Scholarship is a fully funded scholarship program that will enable you to study in Korea.

Koica Scholarship 2024 Requirements
Meeting the eligibility requirements for this scholarship program is the first step in guaranteeing your success in it. Below are the eligibility requirements for this scholarship.
- Nationality: This year, citizens of countries that are eligible for the scholarship were selected from the OECD DAC list of ODA recipients by the Koica scholarship committee. The selection of eligible countries is subject to changes annually.
- Employability and Nomination: This scholarship program is strictly by nomination. You must be working in a government office or parastatal in your country to be nominated. Government officials will officially make the nomination.
- Age: You must be 40 years of age at the time of application.
- Health status: You must be in good health physically, emotionally and mentally. You must also show the capability to study and complete your program in Korea successfully.
- Academic qualification: You must obtain a destination in your bachelor’s degree before enrolling for the master’s program and a destination in your previous master’s program before registering for the doctorate program in Korea.
- Language proficiency: You must be proficient in the English language as this is the only means of instruction during the study period.
- Previous scholarship benefactor: You are not eligible for this scholarship if you have previously benefactored any Korean or Korean government-sponsored scholarship program.

Koica scholarship 2024 amount
If you are awarded this scholarship, you will be eligible to receive the following amounts as a scholarship benefit.
- One-time Settlement Allowance: (Master) KRW 600,000, (Doctorate) KRW 1,200,000.
- Monthly Allowance: KRW 990,000 per month.

How to apply for Koica Scholarship 2024
The application procedures for this scholarship are different from those for other types of scholarships. To complete your application, you need to follow these instructions carefully.
- Scholarship Nomination: The first step is to fill out the application form and get nominated by any government officials in your country
- Submit your application: You must submit your completed application form and other documents to the Korean embassy in your country.
- Attend a physical interview: Once you have passed the application phase, the Korean embassy in your country will invite you to an interview.
- University Screening: Once you have passed the embassy screening, the university where you intend to study will verify and screen your credentials/documents.
- Interview: A final interview/test will be conducted by the university committee to complete the selection process.
- Medical Checkup: A medical test will be carried out to check if you are healthy.
Koica Scholarship 2024 Deadline
