Final Thought
The MAECI scholarship is initiated by the Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation with the sole aim of cultivating international cooperation in the cultural, scientific and technological fields and nurturing the Italian language and culture.
The good thing about the scholarship program is that you can apply for this scholarship while still waiting for an admission offer from your chosen university.
For some Master’s or AFAM courses, enrollment is possible only after passing the admission test. You are required to verify this or other requirements through any of the program institutions of your choice through their pre enrollment portal.
At the closure of the application period you will be notified via your email address for a screening exercise. You and other successful applicants will be screened by a committee made up the competent Italian Diplomatic Mission.
The scholarship will be awarded to you based on a comparative assessment of your application according to your entry requirements and other merit criteria related to your CV.
Once the final selection has been made, the competent Italian Diplomatic Mission will publish it on the scholarship portal to inform the general public. In scenarios where the list of winners is not published on their website due to security reasons, you will be notified personally.
The disbursement of scholarship funds will last nine months, from November 1st of the year of publication of the call to July 31st of the following year.
